You should never be afraid of fighting for your rights - By Aishi Agarwal

I am Aishi Agrawal and I am 10 years old. I attend eYogi Gurukul 201 course and I am learning about Hinduism. I

I learned about our ancient books and scriptures like Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharat, Ramayana.

When I went to India last time, I saw Bhagavad Gita at my Nani's house and this time when I attend the class I get to know more about Bhagavad Gita.

Bhagavad means God or Bhagava and Gita means song. Thus, the Bhagavad Gita means the "song of God or sacred song" because it was sung by the Bhagavan Shri Krishna himself. Bhagavad Gita is part of the Mahabharata. It has 18 chapters and 700 versus called slokas.

The teachings of Lord Krishna to Arjuna was very well explained through the story of a robber and sadhu.

Krishna explained following in Gita:

  • War should be the last resort Unjustified killing is punishable in all circumstances.

  • It is your duty to fight a declared war to establish peace, law and order on earth.

  • You should never be afraid of fighting for your rights and protect Sanatan Dharma.

These teachings apply to our daily life also. We should follow dharma that is our duty and do not worry about the results. We should develop good habits and always think positive.

At last I would only say that I love going to my eYogi class and look forward to topics in every session.

Thank you!
