Namaskaram everyone !
My name is Anish and I am 9 yrs old. I have been attending eYogi Gurukul classes for the past 5 weeks.
I really enjoy these classes and I have learnt so much about Hindu culture and ancient India. Our last class was on Yoga. Did you know yoga was discovered by the ancient Indian more than 15000 years ago? I think it’s cool people still do yoga today!
I learnt many other interesting things like:
· Hinduism was born more than 15000 years ago, It is the world's oldest religion living!
· Plastic surgery was invented in India by the 6th century.
· The ancient Indian made chess!
· We learnt Sanskrit slokas too.
I chant these slokas every day. The slokas I learnt are Nirvana Shatakam, Ganesh mantra, Asatoma sadgamaya and many more.
My favourite thing we do in Gurukul is the quiz because I can test myself if remember everything every week.
I like eYogi gurukul because our teacher explains everything in a way I understand, and I can ask questions if I am unsure about something.
